HCMC Doctors Rotating to Local Clinics to Receive Up to VND 30 Million a Month

Ho Chi Minh City's People's Council has approved allowances for medical staff rotating to ward and commune health stations, effective from October 2026 through 2030.

Under the new policy, doctors with the highest academic degrees rotating to regular areas will receive about VND 20 million per month. The allowance rises to VND 30 million on Con Dao island district and VND 24 million in Thanh An island commune, thanks to an additional hardship coefficient.

The policy is expected to attract highly qualified staff to grassroots facilities, support the transfer of medical techniques and improve the quality of primary care for residents.
